Flask of the Red Mist

A heavy glass flask filled with a dense crimson mist swirling inside, as if breathing with a life of its own. Its movement is slow and viscous, as though unwilling to leave the vessel, yet the moment the stopper loosens, it bursts outward and warps the space around it. They say this mist does not save one from death, but draws them away from it for a moment, allowing them to vanish from the blow and reappear where the enemy least expects.
