An ancient blade layered with seals that bind not just a single entity, but an entire swarm of obedient steel spirits. Such swords were once forged by battle mages who sought to fight in many directions at once, unwilling to entrust the outcome of battle to magic alone. When the seals weaken, the bound blades break free, orbit their wielder, and strike at any target marked by their will.
